I don't mean to attack anybody. Tone doesn't carry in online conversations but I have no hostile intent. In my mind at least, I'm doing something helpful.
As you say, to demonstrate cultic anatomy in early Christianity isn't enough to change anybody's mind. Logically nothing precludes the possibility of a true cult. But it is an inherently suspicious way to spread a message, in the same way multi-level marketing is an inherently suspicious business model which isn't generally necessary if the product is good.
There are subsequent steps in my reasoning after this, which show that Christianity not only originated as a cult but makes many claims of central importance which were impossible to investigate at the time, but which have since been definitively proven wrong.
