Okay, whew, slow your roll. I get that you have a lot you want to communicate. I do not consent to being paraphrased, going forward. I must insist on this point, if nothing else. I put a lot of thought into how I construct arguments. I do not appreciate you making changes to the wording.

Now, I understand what you're saying about hell locking from the inside, that our own built up patterns of behaviors trap us there. But that isn't biblically sound. It is a doctrine of Christianity that you can be damned simply for not believing in the resurrection. Nothing about being committed to ones ways, you could be a habitually kind and constructive, virtuous person. Damned to hell, according to Jesus himself, if you don't believe in his divinity:https://biblehub.com/john/8-24.htm

That makes it very, very clear that the Biblical scheme of salvation boils down to a zero sum game in which we face either eternal torment or eternal paradise contingent, possibly, on our conclusion about whether or not Jesus of Nazareth credibly rose from the dead.

Under these circumstances, I put it to you that we cannot be faulted for concluding wrongly if Yahweh was negligent in permitting obviously wrong information to persist in the scriptures. I understand you also find this a suspicious arrangement, but that isn't my problem. That's Christianity and the version we're going to be basing argumentation on going forward, not your imagination of it. Otherwise this is all just theological calvinball and I'll want to start charging you by the hour to pontificate at me.

What I would like from you in a reply: A direct reproduction of my argument so that I know you understand me, followed by a response engaging meaningfully and directly with my reasoning.

What I would not like from you in a reply: CHOO CHOO MFERS ITS THE DAN TRAIN, I'M THE STAR OF THE SHOW NOW, FORGET WHATEVER YOU WERE ON ABOUT BEFORE lemme just change the wording around and kinda but not really address your argument so I can use it as a segue into what I, Dan, Giver of Wise Truths wanted to talk about for the next three hours

I post text here, often accompanied by images and sometimes video. People then clap or don't depending on whether they enjoy what I posted.
